Benedictine University Mesa

Albuquerque, New Mexico native LaLicia Garcia joins the Benedictine Mesa women's basketball program for her first season in 2026 after a successful career at Volcano Vista High School. A four-year varsity letter winner, Garcia helped lead the Hawks to numerous team accomplishments, including a state runner-up finish, Metro Championship, and District Championship. She also competed for a successful club program that captured multiple tournament titles both in and out of state. Garcia earned Honorable Mention recognition during her high school career and was named an Academic All-Star, demonstrating excellence both on the court and in the classroom. She was also selected to participate in New Mexico's prestigious Red & Green All-Star event, recognizing her achievements as one of the state's top graduating players. Known for her dedication, leadership, and winning experience, Garcia brings a strong competitive background to the Redhawks as she begins her collegiate career at Benedictine Mesa.
