Biography
Naomi Elliot, a talented athlete from Normal, IL, joined Benedictine University in 2024. A standout at Normal University High School, she was instrumental in leading her team to sectional championships in basketball and earned numerous accolades, including IBCA All-State honors, participation in the IBCA All-Star Game, and recognition as a Central State Eight All-Conference player. Naomi also excelled as her team’s MVP, setting records for the most three-pointers made and the most steals in a season.
She continued her academic and athletic journey at Illinois Central College, where she made the Honor Roll. In the 2021-22 season, she played in 23 games with 15 starts, scoring 102 points while adding 19 steals, 30 assists, and 71 rebounds. During the 2022-23 season, Naomi started 31 games, averaging 7.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. In the 2023-24 season, she started 30 games, accumulating 152 points, 161 rebounds, 35 steals, and 7 blocks. In the 2024-25 season with Benedictine, she played in 23 games with 15 starts, scoring 102 points, along with 19 steals, 30 assists, and 71 rebounds.
