Benedictine University Mesa

Nyah Henderson, from Norman, OK, is a talented athlete whose journey to Benedictine University began with an outstanding high school career at Norman High School, where she helped her team secure the 2019 6A state basketball championship. She then played at Paris Community College, competing in 18 games before transferring to Benedictine for the 2022-23 season. In her first year at Benedictine, Nyah played in 26 games, starting 25, and proved to be a formidable force with 165 rebounds, 32 assists, 6 blocks, 42 steals, and 246 points. Her exceptional defensive skills earned her All-Cal Pac Honorable Mention and a place on the All-Cal Pac Defensive Team. In the 2023-24 season, Nyah further established her defensive prowess, playing in 27 games with 189 rebounds, 26 assists, 4 blocks, 33 steals, and 207 points. She was named Defender of the Year, received All-Cal Pac Honorable Mention again, and secured another spot on the All-Cal Pac Defensive Team.
