Biography
Sofia Gagnier joins the Benedictine University Mesa women's basketball program for the 2026-27 season after competing at Phoenix College. A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Gagnier attended Horizon Honors High School, where she earned Defensive Player of the Year honors for her standout play on the court. During the 2025-26 season at Phoenix College, she appeared in 22 games, averaging 5.0 minutes per contest while contributing on both ends of the floor. She recorded six assists, six steals, and two rebounds while maintaining a 1.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. Gagnier brings defensive intensity, energy, and valuable collegiate experience to the Redhawks as she begins her first season at Benedictine Mesa in 2026.
