Coach J.D. Guerrero has over 15 years of experience as a Physical Education teacher and multi-sport coach, serving as a head and assistant high school baseball coach, as well as an assistant coach in both football and flag football.

A graduate of Cibola High School, Coach Guerrero earned Second Team All-Region honors as a defensive back and wide receiver, and First Team All-Region recognition in baseball. He went on to play college baseball at Mesa Community College and competed professionally in the Mexican Baseball League. Additionally, he played as a wide receiver and free safety in the Arizona Football League (AZFL).

Coach Guerrero holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Kinesiology from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Bilingual-Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University. His professional background includes work as a youth engagement coach with the Los Angeles Rams, Procamps, and the Anthony Muñoz Foundation.

Beyond coaching and teaching, he is the owner of Only The Strong Fitness & Athletics, a company dedicated to sports training, youth sports camps, and athletic apparel.
