Benedictine University Mesa

Josephine Cisneros returns to Benedictine University Mesa in 2026 after spending the 2025 season at Nelson University. A native of Casa Grande, Arizona, Cisneros attended Casa Grande Union High School, where she earned GK All-District Team recognition and Desert Sky Region honors. She went on to play collegiately at Cochise College and Gateway Community College, establishing herself as a standout goalkeeper and earning Player of the Year honors while serving as her team's starting keeper. At the club level, Cisneros competed for Copa Grande Rattlers SC and RSL-AZ, helping RSL-AZ advance to the Royal Cup semifinals. She originally joined the Redhawks in 2024 before transferring to Nelson University, where she appeared in two matches and made two starts during the 2025 season. Bringing valuable collegiate experience and proven success between the posts, Cisneros returns to Benedictine Mesa looking to make an impact for the Redhawks in 2026.
