Biography
Paula Gonzalez Castro, from León, Spain, is set to start her first year with Benedictine Mesa Women’s Soccer in 2025. She graduated from Escuela de Arte de León, where she helped her team win the city championship. Paula continued her soccer career at West Virginia State University, where she was part of a championship-winning team and earned All-Academic honors. In the 2024 season, she appeared in 18 games with 2 starts, scoring 2 goals and adding 3 assists in 465 minutes of play. Paula now brings her skill, work ethic, and championship experience to the Redhawks program.
