Biography

Adina Ortiz, a talented women’s volleyball player from Chicago, attended Taft High School, where she earned MVP honors her senior year and was named to the All-Tournament Teams at both the MEQ and the St. Louis Tournament. She began her collegiate career at Quincy University before making the move to Benedictine Mesa, where 2025 marked her first season with the Redhawks. As the team's primary libero, Ortiz appeared in all 25 matches and 92 sets, recording 80 assists and 43 service aces while adding 280 digs (3.04 digs per set). She also totaled 46 points, helping provide stability and leadership in the Redhawks' back-row defense and serving game throughout the season.
