Biography
Hattie Patton, a Gilbert, AZ native, is an experienced and accomplished volleyball player who joined the Benedictine Mesa Redhawks in 2023. In her first season with the Redhawks, Hattie played in 30 matches and 106 sets, contributing 5 kills, 115 assists, 38 aces, and an impressive 435 digs, earning her a spot on the Second-Team All-Cal Pac. Prior to that, she received All-Cal Pac Honorable Mention in 2022 and was named to the All-Cal Pac First Team in 2021.
Before transferring to Benedictine, Hattie had a successful tenure at Park University-Gilbert. In 2022, she competed in 35 matches and 120 sets, recording 556 digs, averaging 4.63 per set. She posted double-digit digs in 31 matches, with a season-high of 29 digs against Providence, and had 10 matches with 20+ digs. Hattie also recorded 42 service aces that season. In 2021, she played in 24 matches and 92 sets, earning a spot on the All-Cal Pac First Team with 371 digs, averaging 4.03 digs per set, and contributing 22 service aces.Â
In 2020, she competed in all 13 matches for Park-Gilbert, tallying 59 digs, while her college career began with a redshirt year at Arizona State in 2019, where she was a scholar-athlete with a 3.9 GPA.
