Benedictine University Mesa

Kaila Keovilaysane, from Porterville, California, is set to begin her first year with Benedictine Mesa Women’s Volleyball in 2025. A standout at Porterville High School, Kaila was a four-year varsity player who earned First Team All-League honors three times, was named Best Defensive Player three times, and served as team MVP and captain her senior year. Competing with SoCal Jr’s Volleyball Club, she helped her team claim first place in the 18’s Silver Division at the Far Westerns Volleyball Tournament in 2017 and first place in the 18’s Division at the NCVA Tulare Spring Fling Tournament in 2019. Before joining Benedictine Mesa, Kaila played at Southern Connecticut State University and competed for San Diego Mesa Indoor Volleyball, where she was part of the PCAC Conference Championship team in 2021, received Honorable Mention recognition as a Libero/DS for the PCAC Conference, and helped her team reach the state finals with a seventh-place overall finish in the CCCAA. She earned another Honorable Mention honor in 2022 for San Diego Mesa Volleyball.
