Benedictine University Mesa

Kylie Bartel, a native of Mesa, AZ, and graduate of Heritage Academy, has made an impressive impact on the volleyball court since joining the Benedictine Mesa Redhawks. In 2023, Kylie earned a spot on the Magic Island Classic All-Tournament Team and was named to the First Team Cal Pac, following two previous seasons of All-Cal Pac Honorable Mentions in 2021 and 2022. Her 2023 season was remarkable, as she played in 32 matches and 109 sets, accumulating 395 kills, 46 aces, 228 digs, and 43 blocks.

In 2022, Kylie continued to be a crucial part of the Redhawks’ lineup, showcasing her versatility as a right side, setter, and defensive presence. She competed in 29 matches and 110 sets, finishing the season with 251 kills, 510 assists, and 227 digs. Notably, she recorded seven triple-doubles throughout the season, including a standout performance with 10 kills, 16 assists, and 11 digs in a season-opening match against OUAZ. She also reached season highs with 15 kills in two separate matches and 40 assists against ERAU.

During her freshman year in 2021, Kylie quickly established herself as a key player, competing in 27 matches and appearing in 102 sets. She finished the season with 264 kills and 144 digs, achieving her first career triple-double against Montana State-Northern, where she posted 11 kills, 11 assists, and 13 digs. Kylie's impressive debut season set the stage for her continued success with the Redhawks.
