Biography
Makala Detrick joins the Benedictine University Mesa women's volleyball program in 2026 as a middle blocker. A native of Glendale, Arizona, Detrick attended Cactus High School before continuing her collegiate career at Park University and Life Pacific University. During the 2025 season, she appeared in 18 matches and 59 sets, recording 62 kills while hitting .198 and adding 27 total blocks, including five solo blocks. Her strong presence at the net and efficiency on the attack helped her average 1.05 kills and 1.32 points per set. With collegiate experience and proven ability as a middle blocker, Detrick brings depth, size, and valuable experience to the Redhawks front row.
