Benedictine University Mesa

Entering his first season as head golf coach for the Redhawks, Dave Barrett brings a wealth of coaching and educational experience to Benedictine University. A Nebraska native, Barrett spent 41 years in education, coaching a variety of sports and athletes at multiple levels throughout his career. Following his retirement from public education, he and his wife, Teresa, relocated to Queen Creek, Arizona, where they have lived for the past six years.

Barrett is excited to continue his coaching journey at Benedictine and is committed to helping his student-athletes grow both on and off the course. His primary focus is developing golfers into competitive athletes while also preparing them to become responsible, valued, and productive members of their communities.
