Box Score MESA, Ariz. – The Redhawks secured a spot in the Cal Pac Championship tournament with a 3-1 win over Park University-Gilbert. The Redhawks are now 6-7-3 overall and 6-4-1 in Cal Pac.
Luis Olandez sparked the offense for the Redhawks scoring in the 39th minute on an assist from Carlos Barraza. Pelaela Mahloko scored in the 41st minute to put the Redhawks up 2-0 just before the half. Mahloko's goal was also assisted by Barraza.
The Buccaneers would apply pressure in the second half and answer for one goal at the 52nd minute. Logan Haricombe scored in the 86th minute on an assist from Carlos Barraza.
Olandez's goal is his 4th in the last three matches and has missed most of the Cal Pac season. Olandez has played in five matches and scored in three of those matches. Barraza had a season high of three assists in the match against Park bringing his season total to 5 assists.
