Box Score MESA, Ariz. - The Redhawks picked up their seventh sweep of the season, knocking off Embry-Riddle, 25-23,25-14,25-21, on Saturday evening inside of Bell Bank Park. The Redhawks improved to 15-4 overall and 9-1 in Cal Pac.
The win over Embry-Riddle ties the Redhawks longest win-streak in conference with their 7th straight Cal Pac win since Sep. 16. The team now has their third longest win-streak in program history with eight. The longest streak was 11-straight in 2016.

The Redhawks, who hit .207 in the match, had to battle back from a 2-1 deficit, but were able to finish off the Buccaneers to get the win. The Buccaneers managed to hit a .326 with 65 kills but committed more errors in the fourth and fifth sets. The Redhawks rallied to capitalize on the errors and took the final two sets hitting a match in the fifth at .438 with 8 kills in 16 attempts.
Laylah Daniel had 19 kills hitting a .233 on 43 total swings. Kylie Bartel and Brianna Rivera added 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Bartel also tallied 20 asissts and 9 digs.
Keelan Memory added 4 kills and Keshara Montgomery added 5 kills and a team-high four blocks.

The Redhawks swept rival Embry-Riddle, hitting .322 as a team committing 14 errors in 118 attempts, and tallying 52 kills. The Redhawks finished with 7 service aces, and allowed five from the Eagles.
Brianna Rivera had an outstanding match offensively, leading the Redhawks with 22 kills on 48 attempts for a .417 hitting percentage. She also added 11 digs, one block and two service aces.
Laylah Daniel had 12 kills hitting a .333 while Keelan Memory finished with 10 kills in 17 attempts hitting .412 in the match. Kylie Bartel had a season high of 40 assists.

The Redhawks will return to play against Providence Christian in Pasadena, Calif. on October 13 at 6 p.m. The Southern California trip will include a rematch with Westcliff University and the University of Saint Katherine.
