LANCASTER, Calif. - The Benedictine University Mesa women's soccer team faced off against the University of Antelope Valley Pioneers on Saturday morning in Lancaster, Calif. The Redhawks defeated the Pioneers 3-0 to improve to 5-6-1 overall and 5-3-1 in Cal Pac play.

The Redhawks seized control early in the game. At the 15th minute,
Brylee Rod scored the opening goal. The second goal came at the 53rd minute from
Idania Dominguez, assisted by
Mellysa Galiz.
Dahlia Alonso's unassisted goal at the 63rd minute sealed the Redhawks victory.

The Redhawks defensive star,
Jaden Campbell, played a pivotal role in securing the win. She made a remarkable 7 saves during the match, earning her first shutout of the season and marking an impressive 7th shutout in her collegiate career. Her presence between the posts was instrumental in denying the Pioneers any opportunities to get on the scoreboard.
