IRVINE, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa men's volleyball defeated NCAA DII opponent, Concordia University Irvine, on Thursday evening in Irvine, Calif. The Redhawks took the win after a back-and-forth match where BenU hit for a .295 clip and had 65 kills. CUI had a .180 hitting percentage and 47 kills in the match.

Both Dapre Rogers and Landon Fuller recorded double doubles in the match with 18 kills apiece and 10 and 11 digs, respectively. Freshman Tyler Watts also finished in double with 13 kills and a .500 clip.

Daxton Tolman had 56 assists and 10 digs while Simon Joly finished with 12 digs.

The Redhawks followed up their win against Concordia with a sweep of Vangaurd University to take the season series. The Redhawks defeated Vanguard, 3-0 (25-8,25-22,25-23).

The Redhawks hit for a .387 clip and totaled 31 kills. Landon Fuller led the offense with 7 kills while John Dawson added 6 and had a .750 hitting percentage. Simon Joly led the defense with 6 digs.
