Box Score IRVINE, Calif. – Tre Carolina scored 16 points and broke the all-time leading scorer record, but home standing Westcliff put together a strong second half to deal Benedictine University Mesa men's basketball team a loss in the final road game of the year by a 72-66 score. Westcliff shot 58 percent in the second half where BenU shot 48 percent.
Tre Carolina finished with 16 points in the contest to lead the Redhawks offense. The record breaking point came early in the contest from a jumpshot near the free throw line to put the Redhawks up, 4-2, at the 18 minute mark. Carolina now has 1,121 career points at Benedictine University Mesa.
Damian Zivak and Dalton Smith also added 10 points each to the contest. Quincy Reece and Tanner Crawford both deed nine points.
