DES MOINES, Iowa – The Benedictine University Mesa men's volleyball team continues pool play for the opening round of the National Tournament with a match against Georgetown College. The Redhawks faced Georgetown earlier in the season and swept the Tigers, 25-16,25-17,25-23.
The Redhawks hit a .378 clip while only allowing Georgetown to hit for a .157 hitting percentage. The Redhawks totaled 6 blocks against the Tigers with 8 block assists and 2 solo blocks.
Dapre Rogers led the offense with 12 kills while
Landon Fuller and
Simon Joly added 7 kills each.
John Dawson added 6 kills to the teams total of 36 kills.
Tyler Watts and
Daxton Tolman have been a solid duo at the net and against Georgetown they blocked three attempts from the Tigers together.
