RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team completed the series against La Sierra University with a 17-5 win on Wednesday afternoon. The Redhawks improve to 36-11 overall and 19-2 in Cal Pac play.
Travis Reaves led off the game with a solo homerun and finished the game going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.
Kevin Fitzgerald and
Josh Hernandez went 3-for-5 on the day with Hernandez adding two RBI in the game.
Anthony Sortino went 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored.
Kameron Haviland and
Jared Cruce combined for 10 hits and only five runs while striking out nine batters. Cruce pitched 4.0 innings while Haviland threw 3.0 innings to start.

The Redhawks face off against Westcliff University to close out their Southern California trip and the regular season before Cal Pac playoffs. The first game will be Friday, April 28 at 11 a.m. at Great Park in Irvine with the second following shortly after. The final game of the series will be Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m.
