Jack Fitzgerald's impressive homerun later in the inning contributed to both him and
Dylan Bangs crossing the plate. ACU added two runs in the fifth inning, but in the sixth,
Preston Vine-Close's single to the right side allowed
Jacob Bauler to score, narrowing the gap to 4-5. ACU responded in the sixth inning with 3 more runs, extending their lead to 4-8. The trend continued in the 8th inning, with ACU scoring an additional 3 runs, securing the final score of 4-11.
