The Benedictine Mesa Baseball team fell to Arizona Christian University Friday night with a final score of 4-11. 
 
In the initial inning, ACU secured a lead by scoring 3 runs. However, Benedictine made a comeback in the third inning, equalizing the game. An error by ACU's second baseman allowed Dylan Bangs to reach first, enabling Ryan Curran to score. Jack Fitzgerald's impressive homerun later in the inning contributed to both him and Dylan Bangs crossing the plate. ACU added two runs in the fifth inning, but in the sixth, Preston Vine-Close's single to the right side allowed Jacob Bauler to score, narrowing the gap to 4-5. ACU responded in the sixth inning with 3 more runs, extending their lead to 4-8. The trend continued in the 8th inning, with ACU scoring an additional 3 runs, securing the final score of 4-11.
