Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

Men's Volleyball Falls to #1 the Master's, 0-3

The Benedictine Mesa Men's Volleyball team faced a challenging match against the Master's on Friday night, ultimately falling in three sets.

In the opening set, the Masters took an early lead, but Landon Fuller quickly responded with a kill. Although Benedictine held the lead twice in the early stages, the Masters regained control. Despite the Redhawks staying close until around the 10-13 mark, the Mustangs widened the gap to 7 points, leading to Benedictine dropping the first set 17-25.

Moving into the second set, the Redhawks secured the initial lead, and both teams exchanged it back and forth. However, the Master's gradually extended their lead, reaching an 11-point advantage at one point. Despite some errors on the Mustangs' part and two kills from Landon Fuller, BenU narrowed the lead to 7. Unfortunately, the Masters closed out the set, winning 17-25.

In the third set, Benedictine made lineup changes to shake things up. The Masters had an early 4-point run, but BenU capitalized on their errors to stay in the game. The Redhawks remained within 2 to 3 points for most of the set until the 17–22-point mark. Despite Benedictine's efforts to fight back, the Masters closed out the game, and BenU dropped the set 20-25, losing the match 0-3.
