The Benedictine Mesa Men's Volleyball team faced a defeat in three sets against Vanguard.

In the first set, the Redhawks initiated with a strong 6-point run, but Vanguard managed to halt their momentum and eventually equalized the game. Taking the lead, Vanguard extended it, although the Redhawks narrowed the gap to two with consecutive errors from Vanguard. However, Vanguard responded with a 5-point run, securing the win at 19-25.

The second set began with Vanguard quickly scoring 3 points. While Benedictine interrupted the run, they couldn't reduce the lead. Vanguard went on several point runs during the set, largely due to their aces against the Redhawks, leading to a convincing 12-25 victory for Vanguard.

In the third set, BenU took the initial lead with a kill from
Ben Turcinec. The teams battled back and forth, exchanging the lead until the 6-6 mark when Vanguard embarked on a 6-point run. Despite the Redhawks' efforts, they couldn't narrow the lead, ultimately falling to Vanguard with a score of 18-25.
