Baseball Secured Dominant Victory Over SAGU, 17-0.

The Benedictine Mesa Baseball team secured a dominant victory over SAGU on Tuesday night at home, concluding the game with an impressive final score of 17-0.

In the second inning, Alec Larson initiated BenU's scoring with a run, courtesy of Ivan Santos's single to left field. Jacob Bauler followed up with a double to center field, bringing Ivan Santos home. Preston Vine-Close grounded out to second base, securing an RBI and allowing Anthony Sortino to score, advancing the score to 3-0. The third inning witnessed a wild pitch, enabling Dylan Bangs to cross the plate. Alec Larson's double to left field brought Daniel Miranda home, and Larson capitalized on a subsequent throw, extending the lead to 6-0.

In the fifth inning, Ivan Santos's single to center field facilitated Alec Larson's scoring. The sixth inning saw Dylan Bangs crossing the plate on a passed ball, pushing the lead to 8-0. In the seventh inning, Jack Fitzgerald's double to center field brought Ivan Santos home. Joseph Cosenza's double to right field allowed Jack Fitzgerald to score, and Jacob Bauler contributed with another double to center field, bringing Joseph Cosenza home.
