The Benedictine Baseball Team secured a 6-3 victory against #7 Bellevue on Saturday morning, concluding their participation in the East/West Challenge with a 1-2 record.

The Redhawks made an impressive start in the 1st inning, with Jowaiszas hitting a homerun and contributing two RBIs by bringing Vine-Close home. Although Bellevue responded in the 2nd inning to tie the game, Jowaiszas played a pivotal role in the 3rd inning with a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Parra to score and advancing Vine-Close to second. With Curran and Vine-Close on base, catcher Fitzgerald stepped up and launched a dinger to left field, adding three runs to the scoreboard, making it 6-2. In the 6th inning, Bellevue added another run, but the game was limited to 7 innings due to rain from Thursday night, securing the win for the Redhawks.
