The Benedictine Mesa Baseball team clinched a pivotal doubleheader victory against Embry-Riddle, securing the series win and ascending to the top of the Cal Pac standings. The Redhawks triumphed in game one with a score of 8-4 and continued their dominance in game two with a 19-14 win.

In the opening matchup, Preston Vine-Close ignited the scoreboard in the first inning, swiftly countered by Embry-Riddle to equalize. A pivotal moment arrived in the third inning when Jack Fitzgerald launched a home run, nudging Benedictine ahead 2-1. However, Embry-Riddle retaliated with a run of their own in the 5th inning, maintaining parity. Daniel Miranda's run in the 6th inning was met with another tying run from Embry-Riddle in the 7th. The tension escalated in the 8th inning as Miranda struck again with a homer, matched by Embry-Riddle. The game extended into extra innings, where Benedictine exploded with 4 runs in the 10th, including a crucial home run from Cameron Jowaiszas, securing victory.
