Men's Volleyball Sweeps Park Gilbert in 3 Sets

The Benedictine Mesa Men's Volleyball team dominated Park Gilbert in a three-set sweep, securing victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-22.

In the initial set, the Redhawks surged ahead early with a 3-point streak. Although Park managed to level the score, Benedictine swiftly regained control and maintained it. As the game progressed, Benedictine steadily extended their lead, culminating in a decisive 25-21 victory, sealed with a powerful kill by Tyler McBurney.

The second set saw Park briefly seizing the lead before Benedictine countered with a commanding 5-point streak, highlighted by kills from Daniel Compton and Adam Wilson, as well as a block by Rylon Raczka and John Jakaitis. Building on this momentum, the Redhawks orchestrated two 4-point runs and a 3-point streak to secure a 25-17 win, capped off by a critical service error by Park.
