Baseball Splits Doubleheader but Wins Series Against USK

The Benedictine Mesa Baseball team split their doubleheader with Saint Katherine. They narrowly lost the first game 5-6 but rallied back to secure an 11-6 victory in the second.

In the opening game, Benedictine took an early lead with two runs in the first inning, courtesy of Ryan Curran and Jacob Bauler. The second game started with Saint Katherine taking a 2-0 lead in the first inning. However, Benedictine quickly responded, with Daniel Miranda and Jose Romero leading the charge to secure a 3-2 lead by the 2nd inning. The Redhawks extended their lead in the 5th inning, and a strong 7th inning sealed their victory, despite Saint Katherine's late attempts to catch up.
