Benedictine Mesa Men's Soccer Team came out strong against Justice College, securing an early lead in the first half. In the 13th minute,
Ethan Lush scored the first goal of the match with an assist from
Tshepiso Ntuli, putting Benedictine up 1-0. Benedictine kept the pressure on, with
Reagan Rintoul doubling the lead in the 30th minute. Just a few minutes later,
Gergo Varga added a third goal, assisted by
Rene Yebra, pushing the score to 3-0 before halftime. Benedictine's defense held firm, allowing only a few chances for Justice College.

The second half saw more action, but Justice College fought back. After a penalty kick goal by the Lions in the 60th minute, Justice College added two quick goals in the 62nd and 64th minutes, leveling the match at 3-3. Benedictine responded with a clutch goal from
Ethan Lush in the 75th minute, assisted by
Ryder Padgett and
Gergo Varga, regaining the lead at 4-3.
