Benedictine opened the match with a 25-21 win in a competitive first set. The Redhawks took an early lead after an OUAZ attack error but faced resistance as both teams exchanged points. Key plays from Horatio Maumasi and Jack Hubbard gave OUAZ a slight edge, but Benedictine responded with a service ace from
Trevor Weinert and key kills from
John Jakaitis and
Dapre Rogers.
A crucial block by Rogers and
Josh Beymer extended Benedictine's lead to 10-7. Despite OUAZ closing the gap to 22-19, timely kills from
Ben Turcinec and Weinert sealed the set for the Redhawks.

Landon Fuller, and Weinert.
