AJ Fernandez earned GSAC Player of the Week honors after an outstanding performance, helping the Redhawks secure a series win over Park Gilbert with three victories.
In game one, Fernandez delivered a spectacular performance, blasting two home runs in the fourth inning—one a grand slam and the other a three-run shot. He finished the game with two runs scored and an impressive seven RBIs, leading Benedictine to a 25-13 victory.
In game two, Fernandez contributed with a run and an RBI, playing a key role in the Redhawks' 7-4 win.
Game three saw him notch three hits, including a sacrifice fly that brought in another RBI.
