During the 2024-2025 season, Benedictine Mesa Women's Basketball standout Alize Ruiz broke two school records.

Ruiz set a new single-season rebound record with 338 boards, surpassing her own previous record of 296 set the year before. Her dominant performance on the glass also ranked her second in the entire NAIA for rebounds per game.

In addition, Ruiz broke the program's career rebounds record, finishing with 635 rebounds during her time with the Redhawks from 2023 to 2025.

With a new season on the horizon, we're excited to see which records the Redhawks will break next.
