Benedictine Mesa established control from the opening tip and never looked back, earning a convincing 68–48 victory over Life Pacific.
1st Quarter:
The Redhawks wasted no time asserting themselves, opening the game on an 8–0 run powered by
Shyla Moore and
Alannah Northam. Defensive pressure led to multiple early turnovers, allowing Benedictine Mesa to convert stops into quick offense.
Naomi Elliott made an immediate impact on both ends, contributing rebounds, steals, and timely baskets as the lead ballooned.
Northam knocked down a jumper and later converted a layup to push Benedictine Mesa into double digits midway through the first quarter.
Leanna Lepe added a three-pointer, and Elliott capped the period with a late barrage, including a three in the final minute. By the end of the opening frame, Benedictine Mesa had built a commanding 25–3 advantage.
2nd quarter:
Life Pacific showed improved energy to start the second quarter behind Ebony Cooper, who scored early and attacked the glass for second-chance points. Despite the push, Benedictine Mesa quickly settled back into rhythm.
Olivia Arvallo delivered a key stretch for the Redhawks, drilling a pair of three-pointers and finishing a fast-break layup following a steal to extend the margin.
Deja Lynch contributed defensively, while Wilcox and Elliott helped maintain control through disciplined ball movement and rebounding.
Although Life Pacific found success from beyond the arc and inside late in the half, Arvallo's jumper in the closing seconds sent Benedictine Mesa into halftime with a 37–19 lead.
3rd quarter:
Coming out of the break, Benedictine Mesa continued to lean on defense and transition offense. Arvallo opened the scoring with a pull-up jumper after a steal, and Northam followed with a strong finish at the rim and a free throw to extend the lead. Elliott added another defensive stop and layup to keep momentum firmly on the Redhawks' side.
Life Pacific responded with scoring from Cooper and Kailey New, while continued offensive rebounding kept the Warriors engaged. However, Benedictine Mesa answered at the free-throw line and on second-chance opportunities, preserving the lead despite a brief scoring drought.
Elliott closed the third quarter with a jumper in the final seconds, giving Benedictine Mesa a 48–34 advantage heading into the final period.

The Redhawks took advantage of turnovers and fouls down the stretch, with
Alexia Wilcox converting multiple trips to the free-throw line. Elliott added a transition layup following a steal, and balanced contributions continued across the lineup.
