The Benedictine University Mesa beach volleyball program has released its 2026 schedule, as announced by head coach Shawn Close. The upcoming season marks Close's second year leading the Redhawks and the program's second competing in the Greater Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC).
The Redhawks open both their season and conference slate on February 10, hosting Park Gilbert. From there, the team travels to Georgia for the TMU Tournament, where they will face Emmanuel University, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Florida Memorial University on February 13. Tournament play continues on February 14 with matchups against the University of Mobile and Truett McConnell.
Benedictine then returns to Arizona for the GSAC Arizona Jamboree, featuring contests against La Sierra and The Master's on February 17, followed by Hope International and Life Pacific on February 18. The Redhawks remain on the road to take on Mesa Community College on February 20, before closing out the month at home with matches against Justice College on February 24 and Ottawa on February 27.
The team opens March with a trip to Surprise to face Nebraska on March 5, then returns home to host Arizona Christian on March 6. A road match at Ottawa follows on March 14. On March 16, the Redhawks host Wayne State College for a doubleheader.
Benedictine then heads to Huntington Beach, California, for a two-day stretch of matches: The Master's and Hope International on March 18, and La Sierra and Life Pacific on March 19. The team returns to Arizona for road contests against Justice College on March 20 and Park Gilbert on March 21.
The Redhawks close out their home schedule with a matchup against Mesa Community College. They will wrap up the regular season on the road, taking on Arizona Christian.
