Benedictine Mesa Men's Basketball has been picked to finish fifth in the 2026-27 GSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The poll was voted on by the conference's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own teams. Rankings were determined using a weighted point system, with 10 points awarded for a first-place vote, nine for second place, and so on.

The Redhawks begin GSAC play on the road on November 21st against Park Gilbert. In just their second season competing in the conference, Benedictine Mesa posted an 11-5 GSAC record in the 2025-26. Entering his seventh year at the helm, head coach Frank Woodford returns five players from last season's roster while adding a talented group of newcomers as the Redhawks look to continue building toward a successful campaign.
