Box Score Benedictine Mesa showed grit and resilience throughout the matchup, but the Redhawks were ultimately unable to overcome a steady offensive performance from Arizona Christian, falling 28–0 in a game where BENU's defensive unit was on the field for extended stretches.

Arizona Christian struck first late in the opening quarter. With 6:39 remaining, ACU connected on a 37-yard touchdown pass to take a 7–0 lead. Despite the early score, Benedictine Mesa responded with energy, tightening up defensively and forcing Arizona Christian into a scoreless second quarter.

Coming out of halftime, the Redhawks continued to fight, but an extended third quarter from Arizona Christian shifted momentum. ACU added a 10-yard touchdown pass at the 8:34 mark, followed by a short 1-yard pass for another score just two minutes later. Each touchdown was paired with a successful one-point conversion, moving the deficit to 21–0.

Benedictine's defense stayed active, forcing long drives and making ACU work for every yard, but Arizona Christian pieced together a 9-play, 47-yard scoring drive early in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 28–0. The Redhawks continued to compete to the final whistle, limiting big plays and battling through each possession.
