Benedictine Mesa's Ben Schnurman was named GSAC Player of the Week, while Cody Campbell earned GSAC Pitcher of the Week honors following the Redhawks' series win over Arizona Christian. Both players played pivotal roles in securing the series victory, which clinched Benedictine Mesa a spot in the GSAC playoffs.
Campbell opened the series with a complete-game performance in game one, pitching all nine innings while allowing just three runs and striking out six. He later returned in game four, entering in the seventh inning, recording another strikeout, and closing out the game to earn the save.
Schnurman was dominant defensively at first base, recording 27 outs over the series. He was equally impactful at the plate, collecting two hits and an RBI in game one; three hits, three RBIs, and a run in game two; and a standout performance in game three with three hits, two home runs, two runs scored, and four RBIs. He capped the series with one hit, one run, and one RBI in game four.
