Benedictine Mesa baseball was well represented on the 2026 GSAC postseason awards list, with four Redhawks earning All-Conference honors and two additional players named to the GSAC Gold Glove Team.
AJ Fernandez, Javier Rochin, Ben Schnurman, and Anthony Setticasi were each selected to the GSAC All-Conference Team following standout seasons for the Redhawks. Fernandez posted a .347 batting average to rank 10th in the conference, while also finishing second in the GSAC in fielding percentage (.993). The catcher ranked seventh in the league with 237 putouts and finished second in runners caught stealing with 12.
Rochin earned All-Conference honors after ranking ninth in the GSAC in on-base percentage (.472) while batting .333 on the season. He finished third on the team in batting average and fourth in runs scored with 36.
Schnurman put together one of the top offensive seasons in the GSAC, ranking second in the conference in slugging percentage (.686) and OPS (1.136). He finished eighth in hits (53) and fifth in RBIs (43), while leading the GSAC in doubles (21) and triples (4). Schnurman also tied for second in the conference with nine home runs. Defensively, he led the GSAC in putouts (341) and double plays turned (33).
Setticasi rounded out the All-Conference selections by ranking seventh in the GSAC in batting average (.369) and fifth in on-base percentage (.480). He finished seventh in runs scored (42), tied for ninth in hits (52), and ranked eighth in doubles (11). Defensively, Setticasi placed second in the conference with 101 assists and fourth in double plays turned with 20.
Oliver Davies and Tyler Jackson were each named to the GSAC Gold Glove Team for their defensive excellence. Davies recorded 59 putouts and 48 assists while finishing ninth in the conference with 33 RBIs. Jackson earned Gold Glove honors after tallying 21 putouts and 53 assists with a .974 fielding percentage at third base.
