REDDING, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa women's volleyball team picked up their first win of the Nor Cal road trip against Simpson University, 3-0 (25-11,25-15,25-21). BenU is now 23-3 overall and 14-2 in Cal Pac play.
The Redhawks outhit Simpson 34-to-27 in kills and had 9 aces to their 4 aces. BenU led in every category but held a strong advantageon the block with 8 total blocks while Simpson only tallied three blocks.
Kylie Bartel finished in double digits with 13 kills while
Brianna Rivera added 9 kills.
Amanda Klotz had 4 blocks to lead the Redhawks.
Hattie Patton finished with 23 digs while
Kylie Bartel had 14 digs.
