PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa men's basketball pulled away in the second half to defeat Embry-Riddle, 71-59, on Sunday afternoon. Benedictine Mesa outscored ERAU 42-28 in the second half while holding ERAU to just 29 percent shooting.

Dalton Smith recorded a season high of 6 blocks in a single game. Michael Kirkland finished with 18 points and six rebounds. Damian Zivak and Tre Carolina added 13 and 12 points, respectively. Quincy Reece also finished in double figures with 10 points.
