The Benedictine Mesa Men secured a home victory against Embry-Riddle tonight with a final score of 82-59.
 
The game began with a quick jumper from Quincy Reece, putting BenU on the scoreboard. Despite Embry-Riddle taking an early lead with a 12-point advantage, the Redhawks fought back and regained control by the 6:22 mark. The Benedictine men continued to build on their lead, finishing the first half ahead by 9 points, 37-28.
 
Coming back after halftime, Quincy Reece started with a steal, and BenU expanded its lead. Although Embry-Riddle narrowed the gap to 6, a crucial steal by Damian Zivak and a layup by Eric Norton helped BenU regain momentum. The team capitalized on this energy, dominating the second half and finishing the game with a 23-point lead. In the second half, BenU shot 55.6% from the field and recorded double the number of steals compared to Embry-Riddle.
