The Benedictine Mesa baseball team secured a 3-1 victory against Westcliff on Saturday, clinching the series and marking their inaugural conference series win.
In the 3rd inning, Ivan Santos crossed the plate on a fielder's choice by
Dylan Bangs. Later in the same inning,
Dylan Bangs and
Carlos Parra added to the tally with runs, courtesy of a single to right field from
Daniel Miranda, bringing the score to 3-0. Despite Westcliff scoring one run in the 6th inning, the Redhawks maintained their lead and emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1.
