The Benedictine Mesa Beach Volleyball team suffered a 0-5 defeat against #3 Arizona Christian. In the first pair, Benedictine's
Kylie Bartel and
Annika Wallace fought valiantly but ultimately succumbed to ACU with scores of 15-21 and 17-21. The second pair,
Megan Hicks and
Jewel Carling, faced a setback in the first set (13-21) and put up a strong battle in the second set but eventually fell 17-21.
Hattie Patton and
Keelan Memory, the Redhawks' third pair, encountered a tough first set loss of 9-21 and despite their efforts, were defeated 16-21 in the second set. The fourth pair, Haley White and
Sophie Drollinger, experienced a 9-21 loss in the first set, and although they fought hard in the second set, they ultimately fell 17-21. The fifth pair,
Christina Sanchez and
Amanda Klotz, engaged in a challenging battle but were defeated with scores of 16-21 in the first set and 14-21 in the second.
Looking ahead, the Redhawks will return to the court on Monday, March 4th, facing Wayne State at Gene Autry at 2 PM.
