Benedictine University Mesa Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Jasmine Urban as the next head coach of the Redhawk beach volleyball program.

A native of Norco, California, Urban brings a strong educational background and extensive experience as both a coach and student-athlete. She earned a Master of Education in Organizational Leadership and Adult Learning from Park University, where she also completed a Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Wellness. Prior to her time at Park, Urban attended Riverside City College, earning associate degrees inKinesiology, Health and Wellness; Sociology, Social and Behavioral Studies; and Humanities, Philosophy, and Art.

Urban has spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach for the Redhawk beach volleyball program, helping develop student-athletes and contributing to the program's continued growth. In addition to her time at Benedictine Mesa, she served as an assistant coach at Park University from 2023 to 2024 and has coached with The Sand Club since 2022. Earlier in her career, she coached with Forza 1 North from2018 to 2019 and has remained actively involved in youth beach volleyball development throughout her coaching journey.

As a player, Urban competed in both indoor and beach volleyball at the collegiate level. She played at Park University Gilbert from 2020 to 2023 after beginning her collegiate career at Riverside City College from 2018 to 2020. Her volleyball background also includes a standout prep career at Norco High School and club experience with Forza 1 North, Mavericks Indoor and Beach, and Inland Empire VolleyballClub.
