The Benedictine Mesa Softball team put up a valiant effort but suffered defeats in both games against Westcliff. They lost the first game 2-6 and came up just short in the second game, falling 4-5.

In the opening game, Westcliff took an early lead, extending it to 6-0 by the top of the 7th inning. Lauren Franco managed to score on a passed ball, and Brandee Ayala's single brought Autumn Giannini home, reducing the deficit to 2-6. Despite their efforts, the Redhawks couldn't mount a comeback and lost 2-6.

The second game saw Westcliff take an early lead once again, but Gabi Perez's run on a fielder's choice narrowed the gap. Westcliff then extended their lead to five runs. However, the Redhawks fought back in the 5th inning with McKenzie Hamilton's single driving Lei Madazo home. In the 7th inning, Stephany Aguirre was hit by a pitch, allowing McKenzie Hamilton to score, and Natasha Lawrence's sacrifice fly brought Gabi Perez home. Despite their strong response, the Redhawks fell short, losing 4-5.
