The Benedictine Mesa Baseball team suffered a 3-6 defeat in their away game against OUAZ.
In the 1st inning,
Carlos Parra scored off a single by
Jack Fitzgerald.
Daniel Miranda added another run in the 2nd inning, scoring on a single to second by Parra, making it 2-0. OUAZ scored their first run in the 5th inning, narrowing the gap to 2-1.
Cameron Jowaiszas extended the lead to 3-1 in the 6th inning, capitalizing on a wild pitch. However, OUAZ surged in the bottom of the 8th, scoring 4 runs to snatch the lead. Despite a valiant effort, the Redhawks fell short, ending the game at 3-6.
