The Benedictine Mesa Softball team endured a tough doubleheader against Embry-Riddle, dropping both games. The first game ended in a 0-12 defeat, while the second game concluded with a 6-11 loss. Despite this setback, the Redhawks maintained their 5th place standing in the conference, securing a spot in the upcoming Cal Pac Conference Tournament.
In the opening game, Embry-Riddle surged ahead with 6 runs in the 1st inning, followed by another 6 runs in the 2nd inning, leaving Benedictine unable to mount a response.
