Benedictine University Mesa men's golfer Eric Klutke has earned national recognition, being ranked No. 15 in the country by Scoreboard by Clippd, which evaluates more than 1,500 NAIA golfers across the nation. The ranking highlights Klutke's exceptional consistency and standout performances throughout the fall season.
Klutke has been nothing short of phenomenal for the Redhawks this year, finishing in the top four in all three tournaments the team has competed in so far. His fall campaign began at the Park University Fall Shootout (Sept. 16–18), where he finished second overall with an impressive score of nine-under par (-9).
He followed that up with another outstanding showing at the OUAZ Fall Invite, where he tied for first place, again shooting -9, further cementing himself as one of the top golfers in the NAIA. Most recently, at the Embry-Riddle Fall Invite, Klutke continued his strong play, finishing fourth overall with a score of two-under par (-2) against a competitive field.
Klutke's consistency have been key in guiding the Redhawks to a promising start to the season. As the team looks ahead to the rest of the fall and the upcoming spring schedule, Klutke aims to continue his strong performances, making an impact not only for Benedictine Mesa but also on the national stage.
