The Benedictine Mesa beach volleyball team delivered a dominant performance, securing a 4-1 victory over Park in their latest matchup.
BENU controlled the match from the start, winning four of the five pairings. The No. 1 duo of Kylie Bartel and Taylor Erickson took care of business with a straight-set win over Taylor Van Winkle and Jessica Goldsmith (21-11, 21-17). At the No. 2 spot, Annika Wallace and Amaya Evans followed suit with a commanding victory against Ashley Estrada and Keep Williams (21-12, 21-13).
The No. 3 pairing of Megan Hicks and Sophie Drollinger battled hard and came out on top against Porsche Bauer and Anna Demario (21-18, 21-9), while the No. 5 team of Anna Brytkowska and Ella Burton secured the win in straight sets over Anna Brytkowska and Ella Burton Mak Detrick and Jaiden Kramer (21-13, 21-10).
Park's lone win came at the No. 4 spot, where Kyla Knight and Lani Pollard defeated Haley Lopez and Vivianna Galvan(18-21, 14-21).
With this strong performance, BENU continues to build momentum as they look ahead to their next challenge against Arizona Christian on Friday, March 21st.Â
