Former Benedictine Mesa men's basketball standout Michael Kirkland has launched his professional basketball career with the Wenatchee Bighorns of the TBL. The Bighorns compete in the Pacific Northwest division of the TBL and have played 4 games so far this season. Through four games Kirkland is averaging 12 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. 

Kirkland was a one-year member of the Redhawks men's basketball program during the 2022-23 season after transferring from NCAA D2 Notre Dame College. As a Redhawk Kirkland played in 27 games and led the team in points at 14.4 per game. He was named Cal Pac All-Conference Second Team for his on-court efforts. 

The Bighorns next game takes place on March 20^th as they take on the Vancouver Volcanoes.
